(MPN) – After a harrowing week of tracking three missing teens from Leander, Texas, officials have confirmed the remaining two have been located.
Last week, three teens went missing from Leander, TX, a small town of approximately 8,000 just outside of Austin. The disappearences prompted a near-panic, as a 15-year-old went missing Tuesday, a 16-year-old disappeared on Wednesday, and her 17-year-old boyfriend seemingly vanished on Thursday.
The 15-year-old was located safe last Friday; now, CFSI Private Investigator Chuck Foreman tells MPN, “the other two have been safely located.”
Foreman told MPN just a few moments ago that the teens were located, thanks to volunteers spreading the word about Plourde’s faded blue 1998 Ford Explorer. A tip about the vehicle led authorities to the pair.
The parents of 16-year-old Alexis Collins and 17-year-old Josh Plourde will be reuinted with their teens shortly; in the meantime, the two remain with authorities until they can be reuinted with their families.
